Due to the current COVID 19 situation all Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool and Lancashire CSAP and LSAB Multi Agency face to face safeguarding training has been cancelled with immediate effect. If you have booked onto a course in Lancashire which was due to take place between April and July 2020, your application has been suspended. You do not need to take any further action. We don’t know when the courses will be up and running but priority will be given to colleagues who have already booked on courses until July 2020.
If you wish to undertake e learning you may continue to access courses on Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool and Lancashire safeguarding Board websites. We will be updating this e learning offer over the coming days.

Whilst we progress towards one website and learning platform we ask that you persevere with us. Training will have to be booked via the system in each area until that time and how to do that is detailed within the programme.
There are no costs incurred to attend if your agency is part of the LSCB or a 3rd sector organisation. If you are a profit making agency then the LSCB charge £100 per day for course places
Please note that there will be a charge of £100.00 for Non-attendance. This charge is none negotioable and is applied consistently to ensure fairness across agencies. If the place is cancelled 5 working days (Mon-Fri) before the event or the delegate is replaced on the day, then no charge will be incurred. If a replacement delegate is a student, please contact email@example.com to discuss prior to the course.

Single Agency In-house Training
If you want to deliver your own Level 1 & 2 training the LSCB have written two standard courses which can be customised to your organisation. You will need a qualified and experienced trainer to deliver this, for further information please contact firstname.lastname@example.org

The Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board ceases to exist with effect from 29th September and in its place will be the new Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool and Lancashire Children's Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP). Resources and training are still available for you to access and all pages and documentation will be updated in due course.
